Dominique Residence, Dallas, Texas

Tucked into a quiet corner of Old East Dallas, the Dominique Residence replaces the family’s original home with a warm, functional design created to support daily life and gatherings as their children grew. The architecture balances simplicity and comfort, offering spaces that feel connected, inviting, and purposeful.

Several elements throughout the home carry special meaning: materials were thoughtfully repurposed from the former SMU Natatorium, where the homeowner—an SMU alumnus—trained before winning a gold medal at the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. This touch of personal history adds depth and character to a home otherwise defined by clean lines, natural light, and enduring craftsmanship.

Designed with family at its heart, Dominique blends practicality with timeless design, creating a place shaped by both memory and intention.
